A child‘s development at an early age depends on a healthy diet. Children require proper nutrition at the appropriate times to grow and develop to their most significant potential.

The pitfall of improper meals

Foods for kids often lack variety, nutrients, and energy.  According to studies, diets heavy in saturated fats actually harm memory and learning. Unfortunately, the most economical and commonly accessible foods are frequently high in saturated fats. Improper diet can lead to impaired growth, dental caries, muscle cramps, childhood obesity, poor memory and cognitive skills, learning disabilities, etc.

Should parents keep a tab on their children’s diet?

The answer to the question is, YES. Parents should give their children a smaller meal and a snack every three to four hours to encourage healthy eating and brain function. In the long run, avoiding processed foods and including natural foods in one’s diet will encourage a healthy body, behaviour, and cognitive function.
